Welcome to 7 Acre Wood Farm!
We live in a sacred place. 7 Acre Wood Farm lies on the southern facing slope of Jack Mountain in northern Bath County, Virginia. Although farming at 2,500 feet can be a challenge, we have embraced Permaculture and Biodynamic practices (and ethics) to grow food, medicinal herbs, and to create habitat for pollinators.
We’re developing this website to keep our family and friends (as well as ourselves) up-to-date on projects and passions happening on our wee farm. Clicking about you’ll find blogs on a variety of topics as well as pictures and videos.
The organization of the web site, Earth Care, People Care, and Fair Share, reflects our overall philosophy on how we feel 7 Acre Wood Farm contributes to our physical, mental and spiritual health as well as that of the community and surrounding region.
